Bahrain set to host MEOS 2019

Bahrain will host the 21st Middle East Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition (MEOS 2019) from 18-21 March at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre

MEOS, an international oil conference and exhibition event, aims to exchange information, experiences and modern technologies in the field of oil and gas

This event is organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Arab Exhibitions Management company, in cooperation with the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) and with the support of a number of regional and international oil companies.

With the participation of corporate executives specialising in the petroleum sector, interested and technicians, training institutes and related universities, as well as engineers and specialists in the oil and gas sector, will gather to discuss the future of the oil and gas industry in the region.

Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, minister of oil, stressed that MEOS is one of the most prominent oil and exploration activities in the Middle East region.

The event will provide an opportunity to look closely at the latest advanced technologies in the field of oil and gas and exploration technology and production.

The event is expected to attract a large number of experts, researchers, officials, executives and specialists in the field of oil and gas from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman, as well as some countries from the Middle East, the European Union, Asia and other regions.

MEOS will include special programmes and various events from specialised workshops in the oil sector and the educational day on which more than 100 students from public and private schools will participate.

The conference will also include a number of discussions and dialogue sessions with the participation of international speakers from international oil and industrial companies to discuss the important issues and the important topics: Resilience of the Future How Can We Achieve Resilience in the Coming Years?, oil prices and future outlook, what have we learned?, the value of technology and business impact, the fourth industrial revolution, the growth of the next generation of industry leaders, unconventional resources beyond innovation and technology: success partnerships and other important related topics.
