The overall value of the two contracts is approximately US$1bn. For the offshore component of the two projects, Saipem will deploy its construction vessels that are operating in the region. The fabrication related to the projects will be executed at Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators Co. Ltd., aiming to increase and develop the capabilities of local industry. The awards strengthen Saipem’s presence in Saudi Arabia and relationship with Aramco. 6 The Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) has launched a new international 2024 bid round for the exploration and exploitation of natural gas and crude oil in 12 blocks in the Mediterranean and the Nile Delta.
