Record revenue for imaging company

MICROSEISMIC, INC. (MSI), a  geophysical service company providing 3-D passive seismic imaging for energy exploration and production, has announced record revenue for the seventh consecutive year.

p>MICROSEISMIC, INC. (MSI), a  geophysical service company providing 3-D passive seismic imaging for energy exploration and production, has announced record revenue for the seventh consecutive year.


The company says it achieved a revenue increase of 33 per cent in 2009 over 2008, experiencing a slow start in the first and second quarter of last year due to the downturn in the natural gas market, but achieved record-setting revenues in both the third and fourth quarters to end the fiscal year at what it calls 'an all time high'. MSI ended the year with a record backlog of more than US$12 million going into 2010.
The company says it sees continued strong demand for its FracStar and Buried Array microseismic monitoring services.
MicroSeismic, Inc. has performed more than 200 microseismic monitoring and analysis projects to date for more than 60 domestic and international clients.
