Crude pipeline from Kurdistan Region of Iraq to Turkey ‘almost ready’

DNO International has announced that a new pipeline that will carry crude oil from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to Turkey is nearing completion

According to the Norwegian oil firm, which operates at the region’s Tawke oilfield, the pipeline is within a few kilometres of the border with Turkey at Fishkhabour.

It denied, however, being involved in exporting its own crude via the pipeline.

DNO International said that the Tawke had seen its highest production of 113,000 bpd and its highest sales of 102,000 bpd during Q2 2013.
