Sonatrach signs MoU with Cepsa for exploration and production activities in Algeria

Algeria’s oil and gas company Sonatrach and Cepsa have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore joint investment opportunities in Algeria’s hydrocarbon exploration, development and production areas

The signing of this protocol will also enable Sonatrach and Cepsa to consolidate their existing partnership by seeking new opportunities for cooperation.

Through the conclusion of this memorandum, Sonatrach confirms its desire to consolidate its partnership policy, particularly within the framework of the provisions of the Hydrocarbon Activities Act, which aim in particular to increase reserves and production levels of hydrocarbons.
