SNC-Lavalin Fayez Engineering awarded five-year contract with Saudi Aramco

SNC-Lavalin announced on 14 January that its consultancy partnership between SNC-Lavelin and Dr Zuhair Fayez, SNC-Lavalin Fayez Engineering, has been awarded a five-year extension to its existing General Engineering Services Plus contract

SNC-Lavalin announced that SNC-Lavalin Fayez Engineering (SLFE), an engineering consultancy partnership between SNC-Lavalin and Dr. Zuhair Fayez, has been awarded a five-year extension to its existing General Engineering Services Plus (GES+) contract with Saudi Aramco, with three one-year options to extend. 

Under the terms of the new contract, SNC-Lavalin will be invited to bid on front-end engineering, detailed engineering and project management services to support the implementation of Saudi Aramco’s capital and sustaining capital programs in Saudi Arabia. Projects will include onshore oil and gas production and processing facilities, building and infrastructure, as well as refining and petrochemical facilities.

SLFE has completed over 200 projects under the GES+ initiative over the past five years, executed out of SLFE’s head offices located in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

“Saudi Aramco has been a valued client of ours for over 20 years,” said Martin Adler, President, Oil & Gas, SNC-Lavalin. “We are honoured to have this opportunity to continue our relationship as an approved GES+ contractor, and contribute to the Kingdom’s program to increase local expertise and employment. We are very proud of  the confidence Saudi Aramco has shown in our technical expertise, systems and project management capability, and we are looking forward to continuing our collaboration under this new long-term agreement to help Saudi Aramco achieve the objectives set out under the GES+ contract."
